I see myself making a difference in this world with service and kindness. I love to serve in the form of mission. Last summer I went on a mission trip to Ponce, Puerto Rico to help with hurricane relief. This summer, I will be doing the same in Lumberton, South Carolina. Helping others gives me a purpose in life, so I gladly serve those who are in need. Kindness is also very important to me. I always want to leave a person better than I found them. Kindness can be a friendly gesture or something as simple as listening to someone who needs to get something off their chest. Small acts of kindness can change a person’s whole day, so I make it a goal to be kind to everyone I meet. The impact I want to make is to inspire others to make a difference. I want to start a chain reaction of kindness and service. The best way to inspire others is to lead by example, so I will continue to serve and be kind to everyone I encounter.
I see myself as an open-minded, kind, young woman who is willing to help others and is always up for a challenge. My passions include art, exploring, and my religion. Art has always been an escape for me because it allows me to express my emotions. I struggle with communicating my feelings, so writing and artwork help me to express myself. I plan to incorporate art into my future profession because I want to thoroughly enjoy my career. I love to explore the world. I do not like to feel confined in a small town, so I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had to travel. I love to branch out and take every opportunity I can to expand my horizons. Christianity is one of my passions because everything I do in life is motivated by my religion. Being a good person, serving others, and being kind are all part of being a Christian. I love to spread the word of God by sharing my experiences with others.
