Why is dance so important to you?
What challenges have you faced with dance and what pushed you through them?
Dance is important to me because it helps me express my emotions in a unique way and it is an escape from everything going on in my life. When I dance I forget about everything going on and it puts me in a good mental state without anyone judging me because we are all here for the same reason.
Challenges I have faced are not feelings successful and dealing with injuries, which puts you in a position where you want to give up. The way I overcame this situation was by setting goals for myself. Once I reach a goal I set a new one! I am constantly setting higher standards for myself. I am my own competition. During injuries, I help out my team in any way I can to make sure I am still supportive even when I can’t participate physically. Supporting your team is crucial to the success of everyone.
Tell us more about yourself.
My passions are helping and caring for others as well as making everyone Happy in any way I can. I love being a role model, knowing that others look up to me is the best feeling the world. In the future I see myself as a very successful woman. I will inspire others and provide support when others aren’t capable of doing so. I aspire to become a nurse. I want to follow in my grandmothers footsteps. She was so inspiring and well respected. I want to leave the world a better place.
